Yesterday, AUG 1, 2008, 19 other Aoyama Gakuin University’students and I arrived at
Washington Dulles International Airport. 2-hours flight from
Japan was so long that I got very tired and sleepy.
However, I made a remarkable recovery when I saw Nina, Nikki, Joe and Mike who is my teacher and mentors.
And view of
Washington DC is quite beautiful, so I thought that I would take a lot of pictures during this trip.
For dinner, we went to the restaurant which serves big hamburger and pasta. We really felt American size
and was satisfied with its taste.

Don't forget Heather, who is the coordinator of the program and your listening & speaking teacher!
Washington DC does have a lot of beautiful sights, and it also has some very ugly and poor neighborhoods. I think it's interesting to have photos of everything, both beautiful and not-so-beautiful.
Welcome to MEI and the University of Maryland!

Hello, Masanori! This is Hiromi.
I enjoyed reading your first post! And I'm glad to know that you made a grear recovery after arriving there. :)
I hope you'll put pictures you'll take there on this blog after you come back to Japan! :)
Hi,Masanori! I'm Masatoshi. I also think the flight was very hard, because it was very long flight and the seats were too narrow to relax. But this program will be exciting and fruitful one. So let's enjoy this program together! Have fun!!
